The Annual 2021

Welcome to the Annual 2021 where I celebrate my passion for music. This past year has been a great year for music with disco enjoying a return while we all yearn for the dance floor.

So it is with no surprise that Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s cover of Crying At The Discotheque is making an appearance on this year. The dance floor theme is then apparent with several remixed track this year including two remixed by Syn Cole.

Kylie Minogue returns for her 16th appearance on The Annual with 3 tracks and a bonus separate remix that is just perfect end to my playlist. All tracks came from her Disco album which is rumoured to have a re-release this year. From the 80s inspired Initial Talk remix of Real Groove featuring to Dua Lipa to the enchanting Magic.

Dua Lipa of course also returns with the heavenly remix of Hallucinate by Paul Woolford. Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande also contribution to the disco revival. The one to watch going forward though is Ava Max with 2 tracks this year but easily could have placed more.

Cat Burns makes a soulful debut on the Annual with Fool in Love and joins Raye as the only fresh talent this year.
