Dressed To Kill
Yes, she is dressed to kill. She is still here, better than ever. Hot off the heels of her best charting solo album ever, still the ultimate diva, she is Cher.
I wrote about Cher back in 2004 and was surprised about how her Farewell Tour just kept on going. Well it did finally end in 2005. But she couldn’t stop performing and in 2008 started a residency in Las Vegas for 3 years with almost 200 shows. In 2010 she starred along side Christina Aguilera in Burlesque and hinted thru a song, You Haven’t Seen The Last Of Me.
In 2013, Cher released her album Closer to the Truth, her first album in 12 years. It quickly became a success, debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200, her highest charting solo album ever. This set the stage for even more touring.
The Dressed to Kill Tour was announced. I was so happy to attend in Buffalo, NY in April 2014 almost 10 years after seeing her in Biloxi, MS in August 2004. And boy, was she dressed to kill!. The set list was amazing, including new hits like Woman’s World to open the show. And the going over the hits of her career including Believe, Dark Lady, and I Got You Babe. I was extremely happy to hear Walking in Memphis. The costumes impressed, and the dancers were phenomenal. Cher just keeps getting better and better. Like a good wine, age has only improved her.
Today, in true Cher fashion, she has announced additional dates for her tour. So don’t miss out on this phenomenal opportunity to see an amazing show, and performer who obviously loves performing.
